Steam Punk World's Faire has come and gone again, and I both vended and had a segment in the fashion show.
To be completely honest, I think it was one of the best, most organized, and well pulled off fashion shows I have ever done at a convention. It was put together by Lilith Bear, a wonderful model herself, and I would be grateful to be involved with anything she organizes in the future.
She also introduced me to some amazing models I'm so excited to work with again, Ariana Ruff, and Sabrina Shea. Another pleasant surprise was meeting Nancy Ferris, who approached me the day before the show, asking if she could be involved, and turned out to be amazing! Other models included Todd Crow, who never modeled in a fashion show before but rocked the stage, and Joanna Haberman, Elizabeth Rochette, and Sarah Mariah, who I was sooo excited to work with and photograph!
I also worked with fantastic hair stylist Gina Austin, and Makeup artist David Shockk, who did a great job, and gave me everything I wanted with the makeup for this show!
Here are some photos from a shoot after the show, taken with my new toy, a Canon Rebel Xti, which will be getting a lot of use this summer, hopefully with some of the models depicted below!
