These lovely photos were taken at Dorian's Parlor by the impressive photographer Stines Proctor.

This is the second showing of this collection, I should have photos of the premier soon! Also, HERE's a link to an article about the show!

Lots of News! But for Now:

I have a fashion sow at Dorian's Parlor in Philly on Jan. 22nd! Go there! I'm also vending, so you will able to take a bit of my show home with you, if you are so inclined!
And Wicked Faire, oh Wicked Faire. I will be vending a whole slew of new stuff, and also costuming one of the better bands that will be performing there, Left Outlet.
Much much more soon, I promise! MY computer is finally up and running again, so prepare for pictures!

TEMPEST

I know that there has been a gap in my posts. This, my squidlings and squidlets, is due to the fact that I am in between computers. This puts a damper on my picture posting abilities, so here is some news that only requires me to yoink things from the internet!

One of my favorite directors, Julie Taymor, is releasing a movie based on one of my favorite plays, the Tempest. Some time ago, through Izquierdo Studio, was able to work on this project. In one scene, the character Ariel (coincidentally my favorite character) wears a dark costume made of shrapnel, and tar, and lots of other black oily things! I, along with my friend and co-worker Amy Williams, and others at Izquierdo's, made those wings!

And I am super excited about the fact that they made it into a few seconds of the trailer! Watch, and see!

Upcoming Events!

Hello everyone! I know it has been a while! Due to computer issues and the general craziness of life, I have not been able to post. The insanity has, in part, been due to preparations for upcoming events. And here they are!

First, on September 7th, a show entitled Utopia, at Les Poisson rouge. Presented by the talented Jihae, more info can be found HERE.

Second, I shall be doing a mask making demo at the Maker Faire! I've had my eye on this event for a while, and vowed to participate in it as soon as I could get myself out to San Francisco, where it originated. But alas! It has come to my city! Click on the icon for more info!

See me at Maker Faire!

And third, I will be presenting my first ever collection marketed for ready to wear sales, at Brooklyn Indie Market, on October 24th. More info and plenty of teasers on this event soon! It's gonna be a big one, folks!

More soon! I promise!
